Welcome aboard the Pizza X project as one of our new data analysts! My name is Joanna Gibbons. I’m one of the partners at K201 Consulting, and I’ll be your project manager for this project (your boss). K201 Consulting specializes in strategic implementations of IT in various industries, which is why we’ve been paired up with Pizza X to evaluate various aspects of how they can and are strategically using IT.
As K201 students, you are in a unique position to consult Pizza X, as you’ll be introduced to many different topics regarding IT in business throughout the semester. We’ll break up into a number of teams, but collectively we’ll all work towards providing our expert business analysis for Pizza X and their IT initiatives. Please check out the links on this blog site (in the "Our Client" section on the right) to familiarize yourselves with Pizza X. Before you can consult any organization, of course you must first understand who they are and what they do!
Pizza X needs specific recommendations, not generalizations. So, along the way, start thinking tangibly about your possible recommendations!
